with Seven Jacobs

  • "Seven's thorough preparation and engaging approach created an atmosphere where our conversation flowed effortlessly. His insightful questions brought out valuable insights, and his friendly demeanour made the whole experience a breeze."

  • "Seven is super engaging and sharp as a presenter, he truly delivers an engaging teaching style, with great care for all students in the class. Seven is a superstar!"

  • "The public speaking workshop covered everything I needed for me to improve my public speaking skills. I never felt this good in a long time when it came to engaging in meaningful workshops. I've got so much to learn from you, Seven! I found a gem."

  • "Seven is incredibly engaging and hits on all the most relevant points for public speaking and pitching. The workshop covers topics I haven’t previously considered and even lets us put the learnings into action. Highly recommend!"

  • "Wanted to send a huge thank you for everything you’ve done for us over the past few months. Your insight and guidance was always spot on and I will be forever grateful for the program that you put together. I have quite a few favorite sessions but, if I had to name one, it would be the one where you convinced us to think of this process as a game - it changed my world. While I’m sad to see the program come to an end I am super happy to be able to call myself an alum. Many many thanks!"

  • "Seven’s unsung strength lies in his ability to open up your way of thinking. We often conflate who we are, with what we do. Since meeting with Seven I am able to differentiate between the two and focus on my true purpose."

✺ Workshop Topics✺

  • Leadership is not just about giving orders but about influencing and guiding others. Effective leadership involves understanding the needs and motivations of your team.

Think about times when you felt truly led, not just managed. What did those leaders do that set them apart?

Great leaders inspire and empower their teams. They have a clear vision, act with integrity, and build trust and collaboration within their teams.

Vision, integrity, humility, and trust are essential traits of a great leader. Leaders should strive to develop these traits and model them for their teams.

We'll cover what a leader is, and what they are not, and work on developing core leadership strategies.

  • Going beyond just scarcity and growth mindsets, we’ll understand the difference between living in your survival centres and your heart and creation centres. Let’s live in β€˜creation mode’ as much as possible.

Self-awareness is the foundation of personal leadership. It involves understanding your strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations.

Living in survival mode holds you back, and living in creation mode makes you freer, happier, more creative, and more effective. Anything that comes from a survival emotion - whether fear anxiety, anger, sadness, ego, etc - is keeping you in a survival state, so the mind is unlikely to be able to evolve beyond that.

We'll look into new reframes on mindsets we can build, such as:

    • Survival vs Creation

    • Fixed vs Growth

    • Finite vs Infinite

  • Many high-potential leaders and high-growth entrepreneurs feel the weight of their work and decisions.

Consciousness comes from the Latin work conscius which means β€œknowing or aware”. Conscious awareness is therefore the starting point to any change.

Our negative emotions are only ever trying to alert us to one of two things: something with yourself that needs to heal, or something outside of yourself that you need to change.

Like a muscle, more time under tension allows one to come out stronger on the other side.

Thankfully, we can take control of what's within, and exert effortless influence on what's without.

  • You can be taught how to do something, but if you also learn why, you’ll be able to adapt the principles to your unique self, needs, and environment.

So, we’ll always start with the psychology and neuroscience. Whether in life or business, 1:1 or to an audience, communication in life, in business, and on stage, and so much more.

This will also cover how we Influence people and build relationships, and how to use it ethically to improve outcomes.

You’ll be building the profile of the β€œauthentic you” when communicating in life, in business, and on stage - and this will underpin all of our time together in other workshops.

  • Starting with the basics, we'll understand what entrepreneurialism actually is, and what it means (are requires of you) to build a business.

We'll create resources to help you work on your business, instead of in it.

This can then level up into understanding tech startups and other types of business.

Importantly, we'll work on and understand innovation. Innovation requires a culture that supports creativity and experimentation - leaders should create an environment where team members feel safe to share new ideas.

We can also discuss social entrepreneurialism, and how this relates to business and business outcomes.

  • Tech start-ups are a whole world of business separate to anything else.

We can cover 3 pillars of work:

    1. Leadership - how to lead a tech startup and take into account the journey and mindset required to increase yoru chances of success.

    2. Revenue - not just how to sell and market, but also your relationships with them and how they can make or break the businesses. We can work on improving those mindsets too.

    3. Investment - how to raise investment, understand investors, and navigate the fundraising landscape.

Within these, we can work on how to pitch your business, how to manage your own time personally, tools for effectiveness, and more.

  • The practical guide to improving your public speaking: how communication takes place, and how to come across with energy to multiply your impact on a stage.

How to build and grow your confidence with public speaking and your conviction in your words.

We can also work on storytelling. Stories are what get straight to us. They immediately interest us, back from the times when humans all sat around campfires. This was how we communicated learnings, successes, dangers, and failures.

This workshop is great for those who want to really train their public speaking abilities for public appearances, better relationship building, and career success.

Finally we’ll work on your β€œWhole Communication” - where we’ll go through my concept of Conducting Your β€œPersonal Orchestra”, learning to be a 4D communicator as an entrepreneur.

  • You can only change a belief with new evidence. A presentation is a moment where you are either instilling a new belief, or changing an existing one.

How do you take your speaking skills and turn them into an incredible presentation, to capture the attention of, and results from, your audience?

We’ll discuss, then practice, what makes a great pitch or presentation. We’ll also go through when they get used, and how to craft the perfect pitch or presentation depending on the audience and the context.

Crucially, we’ll practice everything from what needs to go into the presentations, to your presenting skills and practically improve how you come across to a close audience who is watching and judging your every move and word.

Furthermore - what changes from public speaking, or even doing a presentation, when you’re delivering a 3-minute pitch? What do you need to keep in mind?

How do you take your major stakeholders on the ultimate journey so that they want to work with you? What do they need to know, how do you affect them, and how do you really stand out?

And as this is for entrepreneurs who are planning to pitch direclty to investors, we’ll cover what investors are looking for, and how you communicate all the key points in 3-5 minutes (or even 60 seconds!) so they can’t help but have a follow-up conversation with you.

  • Business and life are games of understanding people.

    ...

Then, we'll work on one of my favourite topics: understanding The Infinite Game. The Infinite Game focuses on long-term sustainability; leaders should prioritize long-term goals and avoid getting caught up in short-term wins. We'll do a deep dive into why, and how to navigate the world and relationships considering all this.

All leading to building better trust between you and your stakeholders - those you lead, your customers, your investors, and more. As they say, "There's nothing faster than the speed of trust".

Trust and open communication are vital for effective team dynamics. Team members need to feel comfortable sharing their ideas and feedback.

Collaboration involves working together towards common goals. It requires a willingness to listen, share, and support each other.
